If you ask me what is the first, read not most, important thing in your job hunt, I would say your resume. Yes, that is something which conveys that very important first impression. If you feel that things are not working out the way you wanted it to be, interviews are not coming long the way you expected it to, then dont think twice - you got to change your resume.
Before you even decide to restructure your resume, make sure that you have the following ideas clear cut in your mind
Type of Job you want
The skills you want to use on a daily basis as a part of your job
Two or three jot titles that encompass the above
Type of company you want to work for & the preferred industry
